Geneva is divided in two parts by the Rhone river that flows out of Lake Geneva, the old city is located on the southern shore, with Mont Blanc, Gstaad, Les Diablerets, Lausanne, Montreux and Chillon surrounding this beautiful city.

This excursion will take you on a memorable 90 minutes drive through the beautiful Arve Valley starting from Geneva to Chamonix are among the most well-known mountain rural communities at the base of the extraordinary Mont-Blanc, which is the highest peak in the Western Europe Alps.

On the other hand, the Aiguille du Midi, a stony 3842 m /12,604 ft crest close to Mont Blanc is also spectacular, you can reach the peak in 20 minutes by a two-stage cable car where the panoramic sights of Chamonix Valley and the French, Italian and Swiss Alps are fabulous! Your also likely to witness the renowned Tobblerone chocolate trade name mount, known as the "Matterhorn" in German and "Cervine" in French.

Gstaad and Les Diablerets.

If you drive along Lake Geneva you would be able to pass the Col du Pillon and board the Cable Car that goes over the snow-capped peaks, the villages Gstaad and Les Diablerets are surrounded by beautiful hills that showcase some of Swizterlands most natural beauty, Les Diablerets is a popular ski resort in during the winter months.

Starting from the white snow slopes, you can discover the delightful Saanenland region that offers you a great mixture of landscapes that could be found on many postcards.

Lausanne, Montreux and Chillon.

Lausanne is Switzerland's cultural centre and is considered to be a beautiful city built on hills, if you get chance there is a nice walk that takes you around the Lakes shoreline, if you like athletics then the Olympic Museum is definitely worth a visit, during the day you could drive through the region of Vaud and alongside the lake passing through the well known towns of Montreux and Vevey.

When you arrive at Montreux you can catch a train that will take you to the Castle Of Chillon, once there why not take a guided tour or lake cruise that takes you around the Castle of Chillon and Vaudois bank that will give you some excellent views.
