This primary Swiss museum is dedicated to fine arts and displays huge provisional shows prepared by the Art and History Museum, established as an award to the Geneva people by two sisters, Henriette Rath and Jeanne-Françoise and instated in the year 1826.
The Rath Museum was visualized as a "Temple of the Muses" exemplifying both Italian and French styles, the Rath Museum presently shows global and Swiss art, particular prominence has been laid on ancient and archaeology art such as the “Treasures of Islam" and contemporary modern art, such as the "Markus Raetz" and the "Bram van Velde".
