The Botanical Garden was Founded in 1817 and covers 47 acre's and has a collection over 15,000 plants, many of these species are from around the world, including orchids and alpine plants and many more varieties that are on display for visitors to enjoy.
The garden also includes a lake, Botanical Conservatory with a library that has an extensive collection of books, with the garden also having a collection of endangered plants helping to transform these gardens into a beautiful landscape of colour, making this an ideal place for the whole family to enjoy.
